Strategic Innovation Through Research & Funding
Three Roles. One Vision. Limitless Impact.
Together, these roles unlock new pathways through complexity.

The Rationale
Master executioner of complex procedures (STARR, STACi, SPAIRE, TWIS-TKR). Sub-specialist in joint preservation, cartilage repair, sports injuries. Holds FRCS (T&O) and FEBOT qualifications. Focused on precision, patient safety, and functional recovery.

Expertise In
Deep knowledge of regenerative medicine, cell biology, biomechanics. PhD holder, Honorary Professor (Lincoln & Chester). Active researcher (>100 publications). Drives evidence-based practice, understanding biological processes, contributes to guidelines.

The Engineer
PhD in Medical Engineering. Applies systems thinking, data analytics (MAI Motion, onMRI), design principles (PRINCE 2 Practitioner). Inventor of technologies (MAI Motion, onMRI, FFIONpod, Regen EMS). Focused on translational solutions and optimisation – engineering new ways when needed.

“This book completely shifted the way I approach long-term thinking. The principles are powerful yet easy to apply, and the ‘Live Forever’ vision truly inspired me to build something that lasts beyond my lifetime.”

— Alexandra T., Founder & CEO, Visionary Labs

Innovation & IP Overview
Translating Ideas into Real World Impact
Engineering Ethos
- Focused on practical, patient-centred solutions. “If you don’t like the current solution, engineer a new way to solve it!”
Proven Funding Success
- (List key examples) MAI Motion (AI-driven analysis), onMRI (quantitative reporting), Regen PhD Platform, Digital Body Bank, FFIONpod, Regen EMS, Surgical Technique Development (e.g., STACi), Consent Plus (intelligent consent platform).
Proven Funding Success
- Secured multiple competitive grants, including:
Health Foundation “Innovating for Improvement” Grant (2016, £74,620) & Scaling up (2018, £34,950) for Consent PLUS, aimed at enhancing patient understanding.
Innovate UK Biomedical Catalyst Grant (2023, £490,000) for the Smart Motion project.
Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership (2023, £280,000) for artificial intelligence.
Lincolnshire County Council Future Grant (2021, £65,000).
